I’ve been photographing people for a long time... like two decades now and it feels crazy to type out. Somewhere along the way, I learned that photos are better when things don’t feel forced.

I’m calm, laid back, and good at reading the room. I know when a little direction helps and when it’s better to step back. Most of the time, I’m paying close attention and photographing what’s actually happening. Experience has taught me when to be ready, when to anticipate a moment, and be prepared before it happens.

We laugh a lot, and I think that matters.

Wedding days are emotional and can feel like a lot at times. I keep an eye on timelines, help things move along when they need to, and notice when someone needs a quiet moment. My role is to keep the day feeling steady, so you can stay present instead of worrying about what’s next.

I’m with you for most of your wedding day, often during very personal moments. Feeling comfortable with me there matters. I take the time to get to know my clients and what they need.

I approach portrait sessions the same way. The best portraits don’t come from perfect posing or being told exactly what to do. They come from people feeling comfortable enough to relax into who they already are. Most of the time, it’s the in-between moments that end up being my favorites.

Experience in life and in this work has taught me what really matters. Building a family, raising kids, navigating major life shifts, and learning how to stand on my own again has shaped how I show up, with empathy, patience, and a real respect for where people are in their lives.
